Joy Kochinskas is a Salon owner/ Stylist for over 25 years, I lost my sister to suicide in 2017. I have participated in the Out of the Darkness walk since 2017. Starting the JAK-L Foundation in 2023, I'm hoping to make more of an impact on the Mental Health society.

Devon Renfro is a licensed mental health counselor and clinical supervisor for a local non-profit where she specializes in providing trauma-informed therapy to children and their families. She lost her sister, Julie to suicide in 2017 which has instilled a passion in her for helping other people who have lost loved ones in her therapy practice. Devon is an active member of the Church on Seven Hills and when she isn't volunteering time there can likely be found training for her next race as she is an avid runner.
Laurie Boucher is a retired office manager for Custom Payroll and Tax Service, and lost her daughter Julie to suicide in 2017.

Since losing her cousin Julie to suicide in 2017 and struggling with my own diagnosis of Major Depression, I became keenly aware of the public perception of mental illness, the pitfalls of insurance, and the overall shortage of resources for mental health treatment and support.
It is my honor and privilege to be a part of my cousin's foundation and assist my family in turning tragedy into triumph by establishing this foundation. This foundation allows us to keep Julie in our hearts while helping others who are dealing with the same struggles.
